Brinnington Estate is a compact social housing area close to the M60, next to urban parks. Several generations of many families live there, so despite problems there is community support. Brinnington is favourably positioned for the motorway network, including Cheadle Royal and Manchester airport.

We have a paperless computer system.

The practices are friendly and work from newly extended NHS premises, sharing reception and administrative staff. They are innovative and have appointed a children’s mental health nurse who works closely with local primary schools and the community.

Natasha Fraser works part-time in the diabetic clinic at Stepping Hill Hospital.

Alan Gilman and David Bostock have a special interest in the care of drug users.

Both practices are involved in teaching nursing, pharmacy, mental health and medical students.

The new rooms mean that we can be more flexible in accommodating the different needs of GP registrars. We have already enabled several to complete their training part-time.
