Heald Green is situated about 10 miles south of Manchester on the western border of Stockport. It has an excellent communications network with easy access to major roads; railway and airport. John Lewis, M&S and the David Lloyd Centre are within our boundaries.

Heald Green village has a population of around 18,000. It is a fairly affluent area with low rate of unemployment and a large stock of good quality 1960’s built housing. It is a pleasant area to practice in as patient expectation is reasonably realistic.

We currently practice from a purpose built health centre in the centre of the village, which we share with a 2nd training practice. We have an advanced access appointment system and use the Stockport Co-Operative for out of hours care.

We have been training for 12 years and are committed to maintaining our standards to ensure we are re-accredited on a regular basis, we see this as part of our practice development plan, forming a learning environment to encourage life long learning amongst all team members. We have a well stocked library and video equipment.

We feel we provide a stimulating and friendly atmosphere making it easy for new registrars to integrate into the practice. All our previous registrars have passed their summative assessment.
